OF WESTHAVEN

VOLUME 1

BOOK SUMMARY

Eloise Jackson is the only surviving member of her family after a series of hardships takes everything she has: family, home, and almost her life. This powerful story joins many Christian Author Books that highlight perseverance and faith in the face of hardship. Forced to leave the family farm, the young woman is taken in by the loving Cravits family. Her quick wit, natural charm, and strong work ethic give her a base on which to rebuild her life. As she seeks direction, she finds herself working as governess for the wealthy mayor’s two difficult children. Challenged at every angle, Eloise’s resolve is put to the test. Just when she feels she’s getting her life under control, she encounters a gang of outlaws whose dark plans threaten all of the progress she has made. As the only one who knows their secret, can Eloise find a way to stop them? Will she survive the encounter?

Book Review

I enjoyed reading this book. Love how the writer brings you right into each scene as if you are in the middle of it! Look forward to reading the next book of this series.

This is a fun book with a good storyline. It is nice to have good literature in today’s mixed up world.

This is one of my newest favorite books ever! It is so rare to find new “good” books anymore. Even some of the so-called teen Christian books are not something I would want to be reading. But then, I found this amazing book.

I bought this book brand-new at Goodwill for 2 or 3 dollars -an amazing price as retail is $22. I’d have to say though, it’s worth all of that as it’s a fantastic book. It’s not anything out of the ordinary. It’s not some totally original and never-before-thought-of-plot. But it’s just so good. Something I could read again and again and never grow tired of. So, if you adore books like Little House on the Prairie, or love authors like Janette Oke, this book is FOR you! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

Eloise of Westhaven: Volume 1 is the heartwarming story ot a young lady and her journey through loss, life and laughter. Set in the small town of Westhaven, Kansas, the story showcases the Cravits family as they open their arms to a solitary young woman and show her what true love and happiness are all about. Eloise’s eventual success in her quest for purpose and fulfillment is a gentle reminder for all of us that we are not alone.

Eloise of Westhaven: Volume 1  is a lovely, highly readable and thoroughtly enjoyable stoy of a young woman who finds true happiness after losing everything. Eloise of Westhaven: Volume 1 touches a chord in all of us who are seeking approval and self-worth. This book was introduced to me as a novelette, and I thoroughly enjoyed it but was left wanting more. The novel version, Eloise of Westhaven: Volume 1, gives me all the elements I crave in a good novel: suspense, drama and adventrue.Volume 1, the first in the series  reminds me of the very first historic novel I read, Love Comes Softly by Jeanette Oke. I can see a whole series coming—and the blossoming  of the characters and the story around them makes me ready for book two!

Florida author Jean Archambault-White takes readers to the nineteenth century Old West in her latest novel, Eloise of Westhaven: Volume 1. The book tells the story of Eloise Jackson, the only surviving member of her family after a series of hardships claims the lives of all those she loves most. Forced to leave the family farm, the young woman is taken in by the loving Cravits family. Just when she feels like she’s getting her life under control, she encounters a gang of outlaws whose dark plans threaten all of the progress she has made. The author reveals whether the teenager can find a way to stop them and survive. This heart-warming adventure is founded on the love of family, the courage of faith, and the never-ending love of God.

Reader Joyce Breen says, Eloise of Westhaven: Volume 1 touches a chord in all of us who are seeking approval and self-worth.  As children we sometimes feel helpless and unable to accomplish much.  This book is a delightful story of a girl’s determination to do what is right even though she is “just a kid.”

What Does It Mean to Contend for the Faith Today?
